Important Information

PAYMENT

A full payment or confirmed online payment is required to secure your booking. No booking can be confirmed until payment has been received, authorised, or the required proof of payment has been provided.

Payments can be made online when making a reservation. Telephone reservations may require the completion of a credit card authorisation form to secure the booking.

All prices include Value Added Tax. Exchange rates are calculated daily and are therefore subject to fluctuation.

CHILD POLICY

Children aged 12 years and older are regarded as adults and charged the applicable adult rate. Children under the age of 12 qualify for the advertised child rate, where applicable.

 
 
 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the activity or third-party operator.

Where a supplier has its own cancellation policy, that policy will apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • More than 7 days before departure – cancellations are subject to the applicable supplier’s cancellation policy.
  • Within 7 days of departure – cancellation fees may apply.
  • No-shows – a 100% cancellation fee applies.

Adventure Tours Africa reserves the right to consider exceptional circumstances, including illness, hospitalisation, accident, or bereavement, upon receipt of supporting documentation.

If an activity is cancelled for safety or weather-related reasons before departure, guests will be offered an alternative date, voucher, or refund in accordance with the applicable supplier’s policy.

LIABILITY

All guests are required to sign an indemnity form before participating in an activity, acknowledging that participation is undertaken at their own risk.

For any unaccompanied minor under 18 years of age, the indemnity form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian before the activity.

PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL

Adventure Tours Africa may take photographs and videos during tours for promotional purposes. By participating in a tour, guests consent to the use of this material for marketing and promotional purposes unless they notify us in writing before the activity.

 

GENERAL

All tours and activities are subject to weather, sea, operational and safety conditions. Departure times and itineraries may vary accordingly.

By confirming a booking, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
